Keep Music Alive
is celebrating the 2nd Annual "Kids Music Day" on Friday, October 6th, 2017.
We are partnering with music schools around the world to help focus attention on the importance of including music
as part of our children's education. Whether it's part of a school class, an outside music program or in the home, the benefits of music has been
well documented for many years.
Some ways your school can participate include:
- Hold an "Kids Music Day" Open House
- Hold a Community or Family Jam Session
- Hold a Musical Instrument Donation Drive
- Invite students to "Bring a Friend" to their lesson
- Hold a "Kids Music Day" Sale on equipment or lessons
- Schedule a Student Music Performance (some are calling it a Kids Music Day Concert/Showcase)
There is no fee to participate and your events or promotions can be held anytime during the weekend of Fri 10/6-Sun 10/8.
Keep Music Alive will include your school name, logo and weblink on KidsMusicDay.org and promote your event to your local print, radio and TV media. For more information or to let us know
